Walk With Me
Walk with Me – A Photographic Exhibition, focussed on community capacity building and improving health, well-being and quality of life for local Central Coast residents, particularly those experiencing mental health issues, disadvantage, and social isolation. Through using photography as a creative medium for expression, a set of images (with captions) were produced by workshop participants to communicate life from the perspective of a person living with mental health needs. The photographs were displayed at Mingara Club over Mental Health Month (Oct 2017) to highlight mental health, enable community discussions, reduce stigma, and create greater awareness and understanding towards mental health within our community. This project was delivered in partnership with Uniting and funded by NSW Club Grants.
